4-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Mto wa Mbu → Base Camp Start from **Mto wa Mbu** and hike to **Base Camp** through volcanic plains. Evening orientation and photography of lava flows. Hiking Time: 4–5 hours

Day 2: Base Camp → Summit Rim → Base Camp Early ascent to the **summit rim**, explore the crater and surrounding lava formations, then descend to **Base Camp** for rest. Hiking Time: 6–7 hours

Day 3: Base Camp → Maasai Village → Base Camp Visit a nearby **Maasai village**, interact with the community, and return to **Base Camp**. Afternoon at leisure for photography and exploration. Hiking Time: 3–4 hours

Day 4: Base Camp → Mto wa Mbu Final descent to **Mto wa Mbu**, completing the trek. Hiking Time: 4–5 hours
