5 Day Chogoria Route Itinerary

Day 1: Chogoria Gate β†’ Gathiuru Camp

Begin the trek at **Chogoria Gate**, hiking through dense forest and bamboo to reach **Gathiuru Camp** for overnight.

Hiking Time: 4–5 hours
Day 2: Gathiuru Camp β†’ Lake Ellis / Hall Tented Camp

Ascend gradually through moorlands and cliffs, passing stunning waterfalls and alpine lakes to reach **Hall Tented Camp** near **Lake Ellis**.

Hiking Time: 5–6 hours
Day 3: Acclimatization & Exploration

Short hikes around lakes and ridges for acclimatization and to explore the glacial valleys. Enjoy views of **glaciers, peaks, and cliffs**.

Hiking Time: 3–4 hours
Day 4: Hall Camp β†’ Point Lenana β†’ Shipton Camp

Early morning summit hike to **Point Lenana (4,985m)**, then descend to **Shipton Camp** for overnight.
