Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 — Entebbe / Kampala → Kibale Forest
Your Uganda safari begins with pickup from Entebbe or Kampala followed by a scenic drive west toward Kibale Forest National Park. The journey passes tea plantations, rural villages, and beautiful crater lakes.
Arrive in the afternoon and relax at your lodge near the forest.
Dinner and overnight near Kibale Forest.
Day 2 — Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Today you will experience one of Uganda’s highlights — chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. After a briefing by park rangers, you will enter the forest in search of wild chimpanzee families.
Once located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing their behavior as they feed, play, and move through the forest canopy.
In the afternoon you may visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk.
Day 3 — Kibale → Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast depart Kibale and drive south toward Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch before enjoying an afternoon boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its incredible concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birdlife.
Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 4 — Game Drives in Queen Elizabeth
Spend the day exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.
The park is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, antelope, warthogs, and over 600 bird species.
Optional visit to the Ishasha sector where you may see the famous tree-climbing lions.
Day 5 — Return to Entebbe / Kampala
After breakfast enjoy a final scenic drive back toward Entebbe or Kampala.
Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda safari adventure.
