This 4-day Kenya safari combines two of the country’s most iconic wildlife destinations: the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park.
The Maasai Mara is known for its incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and the famous Great Migration. Lake Nakuru, located in the Great Rift Valley, is famous for its large rhino population and spectacular birdlife.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 — Nairobi → Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Nairobi. You will drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley before arriving at the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.
After lunch at your lodge or camp, enjoy your first afternoon game drive across the vast savannah plains in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of zebra and wildebeest.
Dinner and overnight in Maasai Mara.
Day 2 — Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara
Spend the entire day exploring Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. The park is home to the famous Big Five and an incredible variety of wildlife.
If visiting between July and October, you may witness the dramatic Great Migration as thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.
Picnic lunch in the reserve followed by more game drives.
Day 3 — Maasai Mara → Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and travel toward Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley.
In the afternoon enjoy a game drive around the lake where you may see flamingos, pelicans, rhinos, buffalo, and occasionally lions or leopards.
Dinner and overnight near Lake Nakuru.
Day 4 — Lake Nakuru Safari → Return to Nairobi
After breakfast enjoy a final morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its protected population of black and white rhinos.
Later in the morning depart the park and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
End of safari — an unforgettable Kenya wildlife adventure.
