Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 — Nairobi → Aberdare National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Nairobi. You will drive north through the scenic Kenyan highlands toward Aberdare National Park.
Upon arrival, you will transfer to your unique tree lodge located deep inside the forest. These lodges are built overlooking floodlit waterholes where wildlife frequently gathers.
After lunch and some relaxation, enjoy the incredible experience of watching animals such as elephants, buffalo, bushbuck, and hyenas visit the waterhole throughout the afternoon and night.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2 — Aberdare → Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, you may enjoy a short morning nature walk or scenic drive around the park depending on lodge arrangements.
Aberdare is also famous for its beautiful waterfalls, bamboo forests, and rare wildlife species such as the bongo antelope.
Later in the morning you will depart the park and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon.
